Welcome to the Moms on Mares page!
Moms on Mares was started last year as a way for a group of women to get together to socialize at Banshee Ranch. We are mostly a group of moms who spend a lot of time at the ranch with our kids. As we love horses as well, we decided not to let them have all the fun! We have reclaimed our personal time in the saddle. We try to meet once a month or so in the fair weather months for a little “kid free” girl time. We usually ride for about 45 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Let’s leave the kids behind and take a little time for ourselves!
We look forward to meeting new moms and contrary to our name, you don’t have to have a mare or your own horse to join us. See you in the saddle!
(You don’t have to own a horse to join our group. You may enroll/inquire at the Banshee Ranch Forum about a lease on a horse to ride.)

Thanks for pointing that out Jena! I can and would like to do Mother’s Day, but I will want to bring Jordan along. So, if ya’ll want to include the girls great, if not, she and I may do our own thing and we can have a MOM’s only ride another day.

Remember Chris cox will be there during the weekend of June 14 through June 16. It will be like the horse show. I will not be able to ride in June too much going on
