Summer Camps

roping20132Summer camps at Banshee are usually between three day and a week long and are not your typical horse camps! We usually have several guests lined up where kids get to learn in depth things like how to identify injections sites or how to spot lameness issues.

Hoof Anatomy

We do roping classes, anatomy class, and of course a daily ride as well as several other things. You are never too young to get the right start. For those new to the sport we have several beginner camps usually notated as our Toe Dipper camps. This lets your child get a feel for if they want to really give horses a try or move on to something else without wasting a ton of money and time.

Unfortunately at this time we do not accept outside kid’s into our advanced camps so you must be enrolled into our student program or referred by a trainer!

Since our a camps are a little intense we do this for safety since all of our students already know the basic rules and we have a good feel of where each child’s limitations are.  We handle real needles/sharp utensils and are involved in the veterinary care of the ranch stock.
