Stable:

Banshee Ranch's 30 stall barn is strategically located an the crest of a hill to catch the sweet east Texas breeze. While construction is similar to Sam Houston Raceway our barn offers an insulated roof, spacious tack rooms, and a restroom for our boarders and guests.

  • Thirty 12’ X 12’ stalls with sand floor.
  • Automatic waters in every stall.
  • Individual rubber-matted stalls.
  • Individual fans provided.
  • Automatic flying insect control system.
  • Vet-check and farrier area.
  • Hydrotherapy wash rack, utilizing hot and cold water.
  • Weight scale for in/out weight recording.
  • Several tie areas as well as 7 wash racks.



Arenas:

A large 100 x 200 covered, lighted and irrigated arena that allows for lessons and riding after hours or during inclement weather.

There is also an outdoor 100 x 200 irrigated arena available along with a smaller dressage arena.



Paddocks / Pastures:

Banshee Ranch provides long turnout hours for your horse. There are paddocks with nice shade trees located close to the barn as well as larger pastures.



Trails / Cross Country Course:

Without even leaving the ranch you can enjoy a ride through picturesque, wooded trails winding throughout the 60 acres of Banshee Ranch with peaceful ponds, bridge,s and even a cross country course. Often you will glimpse deer, fox, and other abundant forms of wildlife enjoying nature at it’s best.

Banshee Ranch offers one of the finest Eventing facilities in the Houston area with its wonderful sandy loam soil for its cross-country courses and the galloping track thru the woods to open fields and hilly terrain. We offer all levels of cross country schooling, including banks, ditches, and skinny’s with plans for a water complex in the near future. Our diversified  cross-country course is adaptable to all skill levels.



Aqua Therapy Pool:

  • 120 foot lap pool

  • 55 foot “easy entry” with
rubber-mat flooring and
rubber-coated sidewalls

  • 12 foot deep swim area with
four (4) foot recovery area

Pool sanitation achieved using the AquaRite method of converting salt into “free” chlorine. Traditional chlorine pools use 3.00-10.0 ppm chlorine but our saltwater pools (similar to mineral springs) sanitize using .5-1.0 p.m. chlorine, eliminating chlorine irritation to eyes, lungs and skin.

Pool recycling occurs every six hours using four Turbo-Cell AquaRite electronic chlorine generators. Pool water integrity is maintained using four Triton Sand filters with Zeobrite filter media.

Walker:

There is a Hydraulic 6 horse walker available with multi speed controls. It has a separate irrigation system for dust control as well as lighting for evening use.



Round Pen:

Two large roundpens are available for your use. Each comes with its own dust control system and lighting system.
